I installed Win7 using the upgrade choice from Vista Ultimate. The machine can not be shut down as it will hang forever at the Shutting Down message. All tasks become greatly slowed down and trying to look at anything tied to the adapter results in a Not Responding window that cannot be closed.
Unfortunately, when Win7 desires to disable the device, it is somehow unable to complete the task and suddenly jumps CPU usage to 80% on my quad-core machine. I have a Linksys Wireless Network Adapter (WUSBN600) Ver.
